In 2011, four friends who'd met at Plymouth University embarked on an adventure we'd talk about for years afterwards - cycling the length of the country, self-supported. True 'Type 2 fun'. But what led us to this adventure was something more serious.

Day 1: John O'Groats to Altnaharra.
Day 2: Altnaharra to Loch Ness.
Day 3: Loch Ness to Oban.
Day 4: Oban to Ardrossan.
Day 5: Ardrossan to Dumfries.
Day 6: Dumfries to Kirkby Lonsdale.
Day 7: Kirkby Lonsdale to Chester.
Day 8: Chester to Bredwardine.
